The State of Intellectual Property in Latin America is the result of an extensive research conducted by our firm. Our book covers trademarks and patents both at the regional and the national level, providing information on trends, regulation and expectations on the Latin American IP market.
The first chapter provides a general background to Latin American Intellectual property and analyses the regional trends in trademarks and patents; also focusing on the pharmaceutical industry and the impact of macroeconomics to the IP market.
The second chapter focuses on country by country analysis and provides a guide to the entrepreneur or the attorney interested in Latin America on what to expect and how to best manage their IP portfolios in the region.
